Clover Fresh Milk Double Stacked Burger Expresso

Clover Fresh Milk Double Stacked Burger

Large Burger bun, toasted
2 x 150g Beef burger patties, cooked
2 Fried onion rings (optional)
2 Slices of tomato
2 Bacon slices, cooked
Handful butter lettuce
Salt and pepper
1 Wooden Skewer
Cheese sauce: 
1 Tbs Butter
1 Tbs Cake flour
1 Cup Clover fresh milk
Salt and pepper
100g Mature Cheddar cheese
Place butter into a sauce pot and melt over a medium heat.
When the butter is melted, mix the flour in to make a smooth paste, allow to cook it for 1 minute.
Whisk the milk in, a little bit at a time, making sure there are no lumps.
Allow the sauce to simmer for 10 minutes then remove from the heat.
Season with salt and pepper before pouring the sauce over the burger.
To assemble:
Place the burger patties onto the base of the burger bun, then the bacon and pour the cheese sauce over.
Top with slices of tomato, lettuce and bun. Put a wooden skewer through the middle of the burger to hold it in place and put the onion rings on top of the burger, allowing the skewer to hold them in place.
Serve the burger with a side of crispy potato wedges.
