DEFY Slow cooker rice pudding

DEFY Slow Cooker Rice Pudding

Recipe by Nicole Snelling


1 Tbsp Butter
1 L Milk
200g White fragrant rice
3 Tbsp Condensed milk
1 Tbsp Rose syrup
1 tsp Cinnamon powder
¼ tsp Cardamom powder
Pinch of salt
3 Tbsp Toasted Almond flakes


Place the Slow Cooker on a dry, level surface.
Line the base of the DEFY ceramic casserole with butter and half way up the sides.
Add the milk, rice, condensed milk, rose syrup, cinnamon, cardamom and salt, stir to combine.
Cover with Lid and then place the ceramic casserole in Slow Cooker base.
Plug unit into the wall outlet. The digital display will flash “- - - -“.
Press the Cook Mode Button twice for to select Medium heat.
Set the required amount of time by pressing the “Cook Time” Button, set the cooker for 4 hours, each time you press the Cook Time Button the time will increase by 30 minutes.
Once the Cooking Time is finished, the unit will switch to “Warm.”
Make sure to 2-3 times in-between the cooking time.
Then serve with toasted almond flakes when the cooking time is completed.
