Soweto Comedy Festival
If you are up for a laugh this weekend you need to schedule Soweto Comedy Festival in your calendar. Taking place at the Soweto Theatre, you will see names like Thapelo Tips Shampoo, Mashabela Galane , Tol A$$ Mo and many more! Tickets are between R120 and R150 and show starts at 8pm.
If your idea of a good weekend consists of good food and good company, then maybe the Craft Beer Food and Wine fair is for you. Not only is it filled with different variations of foods and beverages, it's an event for the whole family, with a Secure play area for the little ones. Tickets are R180 at the door and it starts at 10am and will continue until 7pm.
Books Books Books! If you are still an avid reader you should make your way to the SA Book Fair at Turbine hall in Newtown, Jozi. With over a 100 authors participating in more than 40 events, 7 publishers from across the continent, dedicated Kid’s Zone, and a whole day devoted to learners, teachers and librarians, this book fair is one not to be missed.
