Constantinople’s first Emperor
In 1204, the first Emperor of Constantinople Empire, Baldwin IX, the Count of Flanders was crowned.

In 1792, the slave trade was officially ended in Denmark, due to the decree signed by King Christian VII, to end ‘the trade in blacks’ on Danish land.

In 1862, Belgian-French inventor Jean Lenoir who built the first practical internal combustion engine, he would then be use it to power an automobile

Joan of Arc
In 1920, Joan of Arc was canonized and officially recognised as a Saint by the Roman Catholic Church.
Academy Awards
In 1929, the first ever Academy Awards ceremony took place at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angles California. The Awards were hosted by Douglas Fairbanks, who was the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president.
