Gishwhes Scavenger Hunt Expresso

World's Largest Scavenger Hunt

As kids we all remember how much fun a good scavenger hunt could be but who said you can’t still enjoy scavenger hunting as an adult?

A competition called Gishwhes is the largest scavenger hunt the world has ever seen, and with less than a week to go to register, here’s how it works:

What is it?

Gishwhes is the greatest international scavenger hunt the world has ever seen. You can compete from anywhere in the world (even from your own home!).

Thousands of participants from more than 100 countries build their own teams with friends or are placed on 15-person teams, and for one week they acquire items on a fun, inspiring and sometimes jaw-dropping scavenger hunt list.

It’s not a traditional scavenger hunt - you receive a list of things to find or create, and the team that does the most things gets to go on an all-expenses paid trip to an exotic location.

What You Have To Do

Register on

On the 1st of August the competition begins and you’ll receive the list that you’ll need to complete in 1 week.

You also have to capture the moments with video or pictures and submit them to the website so they the judges can decide on the winners.

Examples of What You Might Have To Do

You might have to:

- find a person that Gishwhes has placed at a particular location at a certain time and date

- go to work wearing only the trash your household produced the previous day

- perform a sock puppet show at a children’s hospital

- become a fully dressed storm trooper cleaning a pool next to a sunbather

- get the word “Gishwhes” written on something in space

- get your grandparents to mud wrestle

- convert your bicycle into a warp-speed spacecraft

- go out to an evening event wearing only things found in your bathroom

- have a boat race in a public fountain

If you feel like becoming a kid again for one week, one not try the largest global scavenger hunt?

There is less than a week to register until the hunt begins, so if you're interested in competing, visit
